The Professional Development Committee does just that, provides professional development, but it's slightly more involved...they develop training protocols based on SCAA standards and statistics, they are charged with growing professional certification programs, and they are developing a cadre of trained, professional instructors to ensure SCAA training programs deliver the level of exactness we require.
Our Statistics & Standards Committee takes everything we know, everything science has discovered, and everything revealed through research and translates that information into standards and protocols that when practically applied, helps to ensure we continually deliver a mighty fine cup of coffee.

Purpose | Advise the SCAA Board of Directors on issues related to their particular interest groups as well as conceive and elaborate projects, i.e. figure out cool new ways to live out our purpose.
