SCAA's mission is to recognize, develop, and promote specialty coffee. Members within our organization are the very core of what SCAA is and does. Since 1982, SCAA’s company members have enjoyed a wide range of benefits for all employees of their businesses. In later years, membership expanded to include individual Barista Guild and Roasters Guild memberships, for individuals seeking to further develop their professional skills. By providing a network of resources, contacts, opportunities, recognition and support, the SCAA brings members to higher levels of success in their businesses and professional lives.
If you are new to scaa.org and have not yet created an account, that’ll be your first step towards purchasing a membership. To do that, simply visit scaa.org/myprofile. Once that's done, you'll be able to purchase an individual or company membership through our online store. We recommend purchasing your membership through the website, but if you need any additional help we are also happy to process applications via email, fax, or over the phone.

“Being a member of the Specialty Coffee Association of America is a must for credibility and visibility in the market. The resources available are a tremendous help in educating our employees as well as our customers. I hope to participate in SCAA’s online discussions, as I have found that most micro-roasters and retailers go through similar issues along the way.”
